Summer Day Camp
This program is offered through CEISMC for rising 10th-12th grade high school students beginning in summer 2018.
Chaos may sound like it means complete disorder, but there is a method to the madness! Students in this program will learn the fun physics behind chaos theory including what it means for physical systems to be “chaotic,” and how chaotic systems relate to the formation of patterns in nature. During the week, students will conduct many hands-on experiments related to current physics research, including designing their own fractals. Students will also conduct field research at the Georgia Aquarium to observe fundamental principles of physics and math at work on the skin of living creatures. Parents, we promise the class won’t get too chaotic!
More information and application can be found on the CEISMC Summer Peaks website.
